Our story began 30 years ago with the vision making a strong selection in toys and games that were not only fun to play but also let people grow.
Soon thereafter our founders decided to develop the first ‘one player multi-level logic game’, together with their inhouse design team. From here SmartGames was born. The mechanics of the first SmartGames were simple, players needed to exercise their brains by puzzling roads, boats, or penguins on the gameboard to solve each challenge.
At first - and to this day - Smart distributed its line through Specialty toy stores. Demonstrating our products allowed and allows consumers get a taste of the challenging multi-level aspect of the games. It quickly became clear that SmartGames engaged people into a world of play, while stimulating their cognitive skills.
Although SmartGames is primarily known for their single-player logic games, the brand evolved towards more multiplayer options and digital games as well. The games come with a set of rules and challenges. Due to the different levels of difficulty, SmartGames allows players to progress and tackle more complex challenges as they improve their skills.
To this day SmartGames believes that people should be able to explore their own potential and capabilities through playing games. SmartGames has become a leader in developing games that keep your mind not just sharp but playfully sharp!
