IQ Quub – 2-in-1 Travel Logic Puzzle & 3D Cube Building Game

I am terrible with these types of games so I did it with my teenage nephew. He found enough challenge in many of the puzzles. I appreciate that this game is well built, easy to travel with and store, and is entertainment away from a screen.

I find this game to be much more fun than I expected! I like that it is smaller and easily portable. It says it’s for age 3+ which i assume is based on the size of pieces. I don’t have children, so I can’t really speak to what age would be appropriate for being able to complete these puzzles. The pieces are good quality and I like the book with the puzzles. It has a wide variety of puzzles which makes this a really good value for the money.

I am a Senior citizen who owns nearly all the SmartGames IQ Travel Puzzles which I have been playing for years. I leave the puzzles out where I can play with them daily for stress release & grounding. As for this game the instructions are brief, to the point, & easy to understand & follow. I appreciate that there is a beautifully illustrated booklet complete with diagrams of puzzles & solutions at the end. Puzzle diagrams are large enough to be easily seen. I like the fact that I have a complete game at my fingertips without having to use an app. The playing pieces are brightly colored & soft to the touch which makes pieces pleasant to the touch & easy to handle. The pieces are of excellent quality & appear to be sturdy & durable. The colors of the pieces are compatible with the colors in the booklet which adds to ease of setup & play. I especially like the 2D puzzles which were easy to learn & fun to play. I found that the soft pieces were easier to build the 3D cube as they fit tightly together & did not slip if when bumped the way hard plastic pieces would. I do not really enjoy 3D puzzles due to some physical limitations. I do know that if you enjoy 3D puzzles that this would be a good travel puzzle to purchase. There enough 2D puzzles to keep me engaged for a while. I am happy with this purchase & would recommend the puzzle. The good thing about the IQ travel puzzles is that they are quite affordable so you can buy & try them. I always purchase these games from the Smart Games Toy Store through Amazon which always has sent out new games in perfect condition. Thanks. If you are an older adult & need larger games & books, then you should try the DELUXE Series. I own the complete series.
